In communities around Kumasi, Ghana, Kommunicate met women who had experienced abuse, abandonment, and hardship. Many were left to care for themselves and their children with little support and limited opportunities.
Through Kommunicate’s safe spaces, women were able to share their stories, express their emotions, and find encouragement from others facing similar challenges. As they spoke about their struggles, it became clear that many needed access to care, support services, and opportunities to rebuild their lives.
Through our Care Navigation Program, Kommunicate helps connect women to trusted health, counseling, social, and community resources while encouraging them to focus not only on the pain of the past but also on the possibilities of the future.
Our goal is simple: to help women move from survival to stability, from hurt to healing, and from uncertainty to hope.
